Hi, I’m Dr. Christine Uggeri (pronounced You-Jerry).

I am a native of the Kalamazoo area having attended Portage Northern High School. I earned my B.A. in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University and my B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I earned my D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where I received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Implant Award. During my time in dental school, I traveled to Greece and Jamaica on outreach programs to broaden my perspective on dentistry throughout the world and to provide dental care for those with limited access to dental services.

I have a strong focus on oral health education and prevention. I adore working with children and have spent my early career working in both general and pediatric practices. I strive to provide parents and children with the tools and information they need to live a cavity-free life. My hope is that through education, preventative dentistry, and compassionate care, I can provide patients with positive experiences when coming to see the dentist.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy cycling. I have worked with many organizations including Backroads, Bike and Build, and Openroads. My love of the sport has taken me to Italy, inspired a biking trip across the United States, and encouraged me to teach bicycle mechanic skills to Kalamazoo-area youth. I also enjoy gardening and sustainability, having previously managed the WMU Community Garden and, currently, running a small hobby farm at my home.
